Some voting locations moved in Asbury Park
Polling locations now set, whether or not power comes back
Election Day is tomorrow despite continued power outages throughout the city and region caused by last week’s Hurricane Sandy. Some polling locations have been changed due to the outages.
The following polling locations are in effect regardless of whether power comes back to the approximately 3,202 residents who are still without electricity. The deadline to select locations was 1 p.m. yesterday, city manager Terence Reidy said.
Volunteers who speak English, Spanish and Creole will be on hand at regular polling locations to notify residents of any changes, Reidy said.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., as usual.
