Ackerman, Latoracca, Ricks ticket win BOE election
Incumbent Maghsood is defeated, along with running mates Danielle Brascomb and Mariella Soria-Flores

A ticket of incumbent Board of Education member Jessie Ricks, former Board of Education member Dominic Latoracca and newcomer Stephanie Ackerman won the three seats up for grabs in the Asbury Park Board of Education election.
The three beat a ticket of incumbent Shadow Maghsood, Danielle Brascomb and Mariella Soria-Flores.
According to the unofficial results from the Monmouth County Clerk, Ackerman was the high vote-getter with 2368 votes followed by her running mates Ricks with 2268 votes and Latorraca with 2203 votes.
Brascomb received 1864 votes, Soria-Flores 1811 votes and Maghsood 1759.
