The Asbury Park Sun will now accept and run Letters to the Editor periodically.

Letters should focus on issues affecting Asbury Park and surrounding towns. Emailed submissions must include the name, address, phone number and email address of the writer for purposes of verification.

We reserve the right to edit or reject any letter. Original letters may not exceed 500 words. Anything we add to your letter for clarification in the editing process will not contribute to your word count.

Please send letters to news@asburyparksun.com with “Letter to the Editor” in the subject line. Each reader is limited to one letter per month.
