Below is a list of Allenhurst Police Department reports from March 16 to April 3:
MARCH 16
•Police issued a backing unsafely summons to one of two drivers involved in a two-vehicle crash at Corlies Avenue/Main Street. Both vehicles were driven away from the scene and no medical attention was necessary, officials said. Sgt James Rogers investigated.
MARCH 17
• Police, responding to a domestic violence incident, could not confirm allegations of physical contact between the two parties. Both refused a restraining order but one person left the apartment for the night. Officers returned to the home late in the evening when one of the individuals returned to the apartment but deemed no further action necessary. Officers Michael DiBona, David Lipari, and Marc Eustace responded.
•A 25-year-old Farmingdale man was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to keep right after a motor vehicle stop for driving erratically. The passenger, who was the vehicle’s registered owner, was issued a summons for allowing an intoxicated person to operate the vehicle. Patrolman Lipari was assisted by Patrolman Eustace.
MARCH 18
• A 36-year-old Asbury Park woman was arrested on an active warrant by Captain Michael Schneider. She was released after posting a cash bail, officials said.
MARCH 19
• After police stopped a 27-year-old Long Branch man seen leaving a house under construction in the early morning hours, officers were able to determine he was a worker at the location. The man was picking up equipment, officials said. Patrolman Lipari investigated.
• Officers responded to a Norwood Avenue residence for a report of a dispute at a construction site. One of the workers was asked to leave the site and did so without incident, officials said. Patrolman Wray Burritt investigated.
• Patrolman Anthony Carafa and K9 Bia assisted Ocean Township Police Department with the execution of a narcotics search warrant.
• Captain Schneider assisted Ocean Township Police Department with a theft investigation at a Cedar Avenue address. The missing item was recovered and returned to the owner, officials said. No charges were filed.
MARCH 22
• A report of a possible intoxicated driver on Ocean Avenue led to the arrest of a 24-year-old Long Branch woman. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to keep right. Patrolman Eustace was the arresting officer.
• Police responded to an injury call near the roadway at a Hume Street residence. Officials said a female fell into a sinkhole on private property but she declined medical attention. She was advised the incident was a civil matter and police took steps to cordon off the affected area. Officer DiBona investigated.
MARCH 25
• A 23-year-old Spring Lake woman was charged with driving a vehicle with a suspended registration, after a motor vehicle stop. Patrolman Scott Rapolla investigated.
• Police unsuccessfully searched the beachfront area for a female repordedly looking to harm herself but she was later located at a nearby hospital. OfficersDiBona and Ptl Lipari responded.
• Patrolman Carafa and K9 Bia assisted Ocean Township Police Department with the execution of a vehicular search warrant. K9 Bia gave a positive indication for the scent of narcotics on the vehicle and numerous marijuana-related items were found inside the vehicle, officials said.
MARCH 26
• A 43-year-old Neptune man was stopped for driving erratically along Ocean Avenue. Patrolman Carafa utilized K9 Bia for an exterior sniff of the vehicle for the presence of narcostics. No indication was given by K9 Bia and the man was released without any charges filed.
• A 34-year-old Asbury Park man was charged with driving without a license and driving while suspended after a motor vehicle stop. The vehicle’s registered owner was cited for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a vehicle. Special Officer Whitney Molinelli was assisted by Patrolman Burritt.
MARCH 27
• Police charged a 55-year old Long Branch man for driving while suspended after a motor vehicle stop. He was processed and released on a summons, with a pending court date. Ptl Lipari was the involved officer. The vehicle was released to a properly licensed driver at the scene.
MARCH 28
• Patrolman Carafa and K9 Bia assisted Ocean Township Police Department with tracking a subject who reportedly attempted to break into a Monmouth Road business. The tracking led officers for a short distance before it was lost, officials said.
MARCH 30
• A 24-year-old Ocean Township man was arrested on criminal and traffic warrants following a motor vehicle stop. He was issued an inspection violation and released after posting a cash bail. Patrolman Rapolla was the arresting officer.
• A 47-year-old Atlantic City man was arrested on a Neptune Township criminal warrant after a motor vehicle stop for an equipment violation. He was charged with possession of prescription medication without a legal prescription and issued summonses for maintenance of lamps, inspection sticker violation and driving with a suspended driver’s license. He was processed and released to Neptune police in default of bail. Officers DiBona and Rapolla investigated.
APRIL 2
• A follow-up investigation into a previous motor vehicle stop resulted in a driving while unisured charge for a 26-year-old Asbury Park woman. Patrolman Burritt investigated.
• Police responded to a four-vehicle crash on Corlies Avenue in front of department headquarters. The Allenhurst Fire Department and First Aid Squad also responded. Two patients were transported to a local hospital, one of which was extricated from his vehicle. After a full investigation, summons were issued to a driver for failure to yield right of way at intersection and careless driving. Capt Schneider was was assisted by Patrolman Burritt and Chief Robert Richter.

From March 16 to April 3 Allenhurst police responded to 15 residential and commercial alarm calls. During this period of time, officers arrested seven other individuals on various contempt of court warrants, three of which were remanded to the Monmouth County Jail. The Police Department also conducted eight mutual aid calls with other agencies.
