AP Restaurant Tour Returns

Chamber of Commerce sponsored event offers small bites, samples, & demos noon to 4 p.m. Sunday

Whether you want to try a new venue, revisit an old standby or check out a new menu at one of Asbury Park’s restaurants, Sunday will offer the opportunity to sample what the city has to offer.

The Sixth Annual Asbury Park Restaurant Tour, sponsored by the city’s Chamber of Commerce, will be held from noon to 4 p.m. throughout the city’s downtown, waterfront and Main Street eateries.

On the bill are small bites, samplings and demos at a cost of $35 per person, with free tour transportation offered on a continuous loop throughout the day.

The event will be held rain or shine, organizers said. Check in will begin at 11:30 a.m. in a tent stationed in Press Plaza [600 Cookman Ave at Emory Street]. Receipt or Proper ID is required to pick up pre-purchased wristband on the day of the event.
