Artists Address The Human Personality In Asbury Park
Art629 Group Exhibit Opens June 30
A new group exhibit entitled Portraits: Artists’ Interpretations of the Human Personality will open June 30 at Art629 gallery, located at 629 Cookman Avenue.
This collections spotlights everything from the realistic and surrealistic to the abstract and conceptual, gallery owner and Asbury Underground creator Pat Schiavino said.
“I have been thinking about this show for some time now,” he said. “I love the work of these very talented artists, and I wanted to bring them all together for a themed show which will have a great impact both visually and intellectually. This will not be your average portrait show. It will be exciting, beautiful and thought provoking.”
The featured artists include Brittany James, Claire Sheprow, Demetrio Belenky, Jude Harzer, Marcin Szprengiel, MaryAnne Vitiello, and Suzanne Anan.
An opening reception will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. June 30 at the 629 Cookman Avenue gallery, with the show remaining on display through Labor Day weekend. For more information, visit art629.com.
