Asbury Agile returns Oct 7
Entrepreneurs, Startup & Tech Professionals Come Together For Annual Conference at The Asbury
Back for its Sixth year, the ever growing Asbury Agile conference will be held on Oct 7 at the The Asbury, the city’s newest hotel and entertainment venue.
Organizers say Asbury Agile is less about agile methodology and more about being an agile, well rounded, nimble professional. Each year the conference rotates to a venue within the city’s limits and topics range across disciplines.
With over 200 attendees, Asbury Agile has become the area’s largest annual conference of it’s kind for entrepreneurs, startups, and technology professionals.
This year, Buzzfeed’s VP of Design Cap Watkins, Jet.com’s Senior Software Engineer Gad Berger, and Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal’s Director of Technology Mona Sorin join the featured speakers list, alongside entrepreneurs John Henry and Jonnie Hallman and Kickstarter’s Lisa Luo, iCIMS Design Lab head Joseph Smith, GIPHY’s Engineering Director Jonny McLaughlin and McCarter English Managing Partner David Sorin.
“We’re excited to bring such a talented and diverse group of speakers to Asbury Park,” said co-organizer and Cowerks founder Bret Morgan. “Community has always been at the heart of everything we’ve been building at Cowerks. Asbury Agile is our chance to show off the vibrant technology and startup community emerging right here under our noses to our friends in New York, Philly, and other parts of New Jersey.”
As always the conference includes participation by area students and their educators.
Scheduled from 8:15 – 4:00 p.m., a networking after party will immediately follow. For more about the featured speakers and to purchase the $150 tickets, visit www.asburyagile.com.
