The annual Asbury Park City Council Organizational Meeting will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday in Council Chambers at 1 Municipal Plaza.

• Appointments will be made for Deputy Mayor, Deputy City Clerk, Municipal Attorney and Auditor, Special Tax, Labor and Bond Counsel, City Engineer, Appraisal Services, Insurance Broker, Compliance Officer, ADA Coordinator, and a Fund Commissioner and Alternate to the NJIIF.

• The 2016 Meeting Schedule and official Newspaper designations will be made.

• Appointments also will be made to various committees, including the Code Enforcement/Quality of Life, Public Arts, Asbury Park Television, Parking Advisory, Recreation Advisory, Community Development Block Grant, Wesley Lake, and Springwood Avenue Renaming committees.

• Planning and Zoning Board of Adjustment members will be appointed as well as budgetary mandates like adopting a temporary operating spending plan, adopting a cash management plan, and establishing a rate of interest to be charged on delinquent taxes.

• Mayor John Moor will announce appoints to the Library Board Committee as well as the Office of Emergency Management Director.

Public participation will be held following comments from the Mayor and City Council.
