Asbury Park Spring Bazaar Celebrates Mother’s Day
Musicians & Artisans Converge During noon to 5 pm Sat & Sun Event In Convention Hall
Mother’s Day weekend kicks off at the Annual Asbury Park Spring Bazaar, being held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Grand Arcade at Convention Hall on the Asbury Park Boardwalk.
This year’s curated event features over 90 local vendors showcasing offering everything from do-it-yourself flower arrangements, yoga, and other workshops to hair styling and henna tattoo services.
Hosted by the Asbury Park Bazaar, Asbury Park Boardwalk, The Anchor’s Bend and Asbury Oyster Bar, here’s a snapshot of some of the weekend highlights:
The craft and vintage vendors are comprised of local and regional makers, artists and designers selling gifts for mom, handcrafted pieces, jewelry, art, and home goods.
Flower Bouquets by Faye + Renee, a Philadelphia-based floral and event design company, offers the option of picking up a Mother’s Day bouquet or build your own at their flower bar.
Little Detour Photo Booth offers Mother’s Day photos, with props, inside their vintage trailer.
The Vive L’Acoustica live music lineup includes Saturday performances by Jackson Pines, Tara Dente, Ashley McKinley, and Dentist. On Sunday, bluegrass and acoustic band Joe Cirotti Trio headlines.
Anchor’s Bend will offer a Sunday Mother’s Day brunch and there will be a host of family friendly workshops and kids crafts on the menu. Also on hand for a bit of stress relief and comfort will be Kinetric Wellness chair massages.
Sunday hairstyling will be offered by Boho Hair Salon, complete with beach wave and braided crown options on a first come first serve basis. And, Henna by Margaret tattoos will be offered on Sunday.
