Allenhurst Beach Club Manager Doug Caron and Assistant Manager Chris Rogers presented their list of over fifteen possible projects for the off-season at last night’s Board of Commissioners meeting.

Some projects are essential, explained City Administrator Lori Osborn, and some can be put off for another time or introduced gradually.

Essential projects include repairing a captail pump, changing the outflow pipe, and repairs to Mr. C’s, the Beach Club restaurant.

Recommended but non-essential projects include a well points system and the expansion of the North Deck.

Assistant Manager Chris Rogers said he had been in touch with the architect who originally designed the deck.

“From what he can remember without having the plans in front of him, it’s feasible  and we won’t have to start from scratch.”
