Can’t Buy Me Love Returns Feb 11 At Convention Hall
Hey Bulldog & Slowey & The Boats Headline Third Annual Asbury Park Bazaar Valentine's Celebration
The Annual Market & Brunch event that celebrates the spirit of Valentine’s Day returns on Feb 11 inside the Grand Arcade at Convention Hall.
Curated by the team behind The Asbury Park Bazaar, Can’t Buy Me Love is a showcase of the best in local and regional indie vendors, founder Jenny Vickers Chyb said. Held from noon to 5 p.m., vendors will offer everything from handmade jewelry, art and photography to candles, chocolates and home goods.
“The Valentine’s Market will be a perfect location to enjoy Valentine’s Day whether you are single or have a date,” Chyb said.
On the bill this year are kids crafts, a Galentine’s DIY workshop with a bit of bubbly, a Hawaiian-inspired brunch with live music at The Anchor’s Bend, a fireplace lounge featuring a Beatles tribute band, and the Little Detour pet photo kissing booth, held in support of a local pet charity. Flower bouquet are available via Faye + Renee or you can make your own at their Flower Bar, Chyb said.
“There’s really something for everybody,” Chyb said.

The Lover’s Luau Brunch featuring music from Philly’s Hawaiian-inspired steel guitar band Slowey + The Boats runs from 10 am to 2 pm at The Anchor’s Bend, located inside Convention Hall at 1300 Ocean Avenue. New Brunswick based Hey Bulldog plays Beatles covers from 2 to 5 p.m.
The Flower Bar will be administered by Faye & Renée Floral & Event Design, a

The Photo ‘Kissing’ Booth by Little Detour features a booth camper and lounge that accommodates a pet or your partner. Proceeds will benefit The Brodie Fund, which helps pets fight cancer.
The Champagne Bubbly & Hot Drink Bar will features an onsite sommelier.
