City readies for Pride Festival on Sunday, event’s 20th anniversary
Latest forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and a high of 76
The Jersey Pride Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary on Sunday in Asbury Park. The city has hosted every Pride Festival since the first in June, 1992. This year’s marks the 21st annual event.
The Jersey Pride Parade starts at noon on Sunday and heads down Cookman Avenue and Grand Avenue on its way to the festival grounds in front of Convention Hall. The festival itself is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
