City Resident Rehman Wins National Scholarship
NBCC Award Supports Pursuit of Approved Clinical Supervisor Credential
City resident Christine Rehman has been awarded an National Board for Certified Counselors [NBCC] Foundation scholarship in support of her pursuit of an Approved Clinical Supervisor credential.
Rehman, who works at the Family Guidance Center of Warren County in Phillipsburg, was awarded $500, according to a written news release by the NBCC Foundation.
As part of the center’s outpatient department, Rehman serves adults and children who experience mental health and co-occurring issues. She is a National Certified Counselor, a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Registered Art Therapist, a licensed alcohol and drug counselor, and a licensed professional counselor.
Rehman specializes in anxiety, depression, ADHD and grief counseling. She could not be reached at time of posting for comment.
The NBCC Foundation is the nonprofit arm of the National Board for Certified Counselors, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. There are more than 60,000 National Certified Counselors globally, according to the organization.
