While many shoppers hit the racks for Black Friday, Asbury Park’s businesses are getting ready for Small Business Saturday tomorrow.

Small Business Saturday was popularized by American Express as an alternative to frenzied holiday shopping in big-box chain stores to which most people flock on Black Friday.

American Express customers who register an eligible American Express Card ahead of time and make a purchase of $10 or more will receive a $10 statement credit for shopping at qualifying small business. Click here to view participating stores.

Most Asbury Park businesses will be open on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday offering unique holiday gift items throughout the day.
