As the Asbury boardwalk closes in on the official start of summer Thursday, the conditions Monday night were a bit cool and cloudy.

That didn’t stop bluesmen Stringbean and the Stalkers, however, from initiating their weekly Monday night appearance outside Langosta Lounge and Pop’s Garage.

Too bad they didn’t have the weather forecast for Wednesday. The National Weather Service predicts a high of around 90. Click here for the latest updated forecasts.

Pictured above are [from left] Kenny “Stringbean” Sorensen, Dan Mulvey and Sim Cain. This will be the group’s third summer playing their Monday night gig outside Langosta and Pop’s.
