Clothing Drive Launched To Support Neptune Fire Victims
Collection for family of eight runs through Oct 11 at Assembly West Park Avenue Headquarters
Assembly members Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey have launched a clothing drive in support of a Neptune City family who lost everything in a Sept. 21 fire.
The family of eight was displaced following a devastating fire that destroyed their West Sylvania Avenue home and most of their belongings, including much of their clothing, Houghtaling and Downey said in a written statement. We are encouraging local residents to help ease the family’s burden by donating their new or gently-used clothing.
The family is in need of:
Girls size 14 pants/shirts, 6 shoe
Girls size 12 pants, small shirts, 7 shoe
Girls size 14 pants, medium shirts, 6 shoe
Girls size 11/12 pants/shirt, 6 shoe
Women’s size 14 pant, large shirt, 9 shoe
Women’s size 14 pant, large shirt, 7 shoe
Boys 2T pants/shirt, 8/9 shoe
Men’s small shirt, 30×31 pant, 9 shoe
The clothing drive will run through Oct. 11. Donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the local Assembly Members headquarters located at 802 West Park Ave, Suite 221, in Ocean Township.
