District 4 Congressional candidate Josh Welle will be speaking and answering questions from 5:30 to 7 pm Wednesday, Oct 17, at Asbury Park Brewery, located at 810 Sewall Ave.

Sponsored by venue co-owner Jeff Plate and the Asbury Park Young Democrats, donations are 100 percent suggested, Asbury Park Young Democrats President Jess Alaimo said.

Welle, a Naval Academy graduate, Afghanistan War veteran, and Harvard Kennedy School graduate is challenging veteran Republican Congressman Chris Smith.

He will field questions during the meet and greet event, Alaimo said. There will also be an opportunity to sign up for phone banking or canvassing shifts.

The town hall forum will be followed by performance by Radioactivity, Spiritual Cramp, My Heart & The Real World, and Character Actor.
