Councilman Bruno supports One Asbury for city council
'They are capable, dedicated local citizens running for the right reason: public service'
Editor, the Asbury Park Sun:
I have served on City Council for the last 12 years, eight of which as Deputy Mayor. I am very proud of the work we have done and during these 12 years the city progressed. Over the past few years I have been hearing that the present Council has lost its way and we need a change. Not a radical change, but a fresh perspective.
The One Asbury ticket with John Moor, Amy Quinn, Myra Campbell, Joe Woerner and Talesha Crank is the only choice for that change. It is clear that One Asbury represents the diversity of our city and has the ability to gain the support of all areas of the City that is needed to win this vital election and govern effectively.
The One Asbury ticket represents all corners of Asbury Park in a way that no other ticket does — east side, west side, gay, straight, black, white, young, old. They are hands-on community leaders who all have served the community for a number of years. They are capable, dedicated local citizens running for the right reason: public service.
A vote for any other ticket is a wasted vote. A vote for One Asbury is a vote for today and for the future of Asbury Park.
— Councilman Jim Bruno, Asbury Park
