County Clerk launches new voter education website
One stop for voter assistance and information
The Monmouth County Clerk has launched a new voter education website aimed at assisting voters.
The website, www.MonmouthCountyVotes.com, was designed in collaboration with the Elections’ Board and the Monmouth County Superintendent of Elections.
“We are very excited to provide this website to Monmouth County voters to assist them with all of their election needs and questions,” said Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon. “This is really about helping voters, potential voters and candidates access the most up-to-date and important information with the click of a mouse.”
The website includes quick links to voter registration, Vote-By-Mail information, polling locations, election results, candidate assistance, election support, contact information, forms and other useful information, according to news release. Voters will be able to map polling locations via Google Maps.
“This site was designed with the user experience as a priority and is highly compatible with mobile devices,” Hanlon said. “On election day voters will be able to confirm their voting location and get election results.”
Voters also can find current information about recent modification to the State’s Vote-By-Mail program and 2015 election dates.
“This is a huge step into the future for our election departments and for our voters here in Monmouth County,” said Freeholder Lillian Burry, liaison to the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office. “We are pleased to be able to provide important elections information in a convenient and easy to use website.”
Residents and voters can continue to visit and conduct election business at Monmouth County’s election offices at 300 Halls Mills Road, Freehold.
