Deal Police Ask Residents to Complete Survey
Emergency Contact, Needs, and Homes w/ Surveillance Being Assessed
The Deal Police Department is asking all township residents to complete an emergency contact survey as soon as possible.
The survey establishes contact information, any firearms and a special needs assessment in case of emergencies.
It also asks residents to list whether they are full or part time residents, if any members of the household are confined to a wheelchair or bed, and if any special assistance and/or help during an evacuation is required.
Aside from whether or not a home has video surveillance, the final question is whether or not a resident would be willing to provide their video surveillance to help an ongoing investigation.
“Please keep an eye out for the attached form coming in the mail,” officials wrote in a news release. “We are collecting emergency contact information for all residents in town. Please send back the form as soon as possible to ensure we have accurate information in our system.”
