Next month, our four legged friends will be at the center of a community support initiative. 

A part of a vaccine fundraiser being held in support of Tails of Hope Rescue, this pet-centric event features giveaways, coupons, store specials, gift baskets and a 50/50 raffle.

Sponsored by Neptune Animal Hospital and Yellow Roof Pet Care, the event will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Aug 26 at the latter’s 1019 Main St location.

Rabies and distemper shots will be offered for $20, and microchipping will be done for $15. All three will be given for $50.

Tails of Hope is an all breed no-kill animal rescue nonprofit that provides animal rescue, veterinary care, training, humane education and adoption services. They also work with families to keep animals in the home whenever possible by providing education, training and other types of assistance.
