Domestic argument leads to aggravated assault arrest

Neptune man throws woman, 31, through La Tapatia storefront

A 33-year-old Neptune man immediately was apprehended in connection with throwing a throwing a 31-year-old Asbury Park woman through the window of a Main Street business, according to Asbury Park Police Department spokesman Ptl. Michael Casey.

Radon Harris was charged with aggravated assault and remanded to Monmouth County Jail in lieu of a cash only $100,000 bail, Casey said.

Police were dispatched to 703 Main Street near 2:36 p.m. on a report of a man and woman fighting, he said. When units arrived, the found the woman lodged into the La Tapatia storefront window.

Harris was found nearby, bleeding.

The female was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries and later released, Casey said.
