Fall bazaar takes place Saturday
Partnership with Indian Summer brings local bands out to play
The second annual Asbury Park Fall Bazaar will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, in the Grand Arcade of Convention Hall from noon to 5 p.m.
The event features 40 local artisans and local shops selling handmade paintings, photography, crafts, vintage, crafts, home goods, woodwork and more.
This year, event organizers will join with Indian Summer, a celebration of the local music and community of Asbury Park, to bring local, live music to the bazaar starting at 2 p.m. outside of The Anchor’s Bend bar, located on the north promenade of Convention Hall. The bar will serve up seasonal and Oktoberfest style beers and food.
The Grand Arcade’s newest store, Arcade Radio, will serve as the official event headquarters. The space will host interviews and guest DJ spots, as well as sell band merchandise.
For more information and to see a list of participating vendors, visit the 2014 Fall Bazaar website.
Three winter bazaars will be held in the Grand Arcade during the month of December.
The Grand Arcade, located at 1300 Ocean Ave, is the breezeway between Convention Hall and the Paramount Theatre that provides passage between the northern and southern ends of the boardwalk.
