Faulhaber: Vote the whole Asbury Together ticket
'We must have a cohesive team working to guide city hall'
Editor, Asbury Park Sun,
After attending both the “Candidates’ Debate” at the VFW Hall last Wednesday and the Asbury Park Homeowners Association “Meet the Candidates” event on Saturday, I am convinced the whole Asbury Together ticket must be voted into office on Nov. 4, 2014.
While Asbury Together was putting forth facts about issues and suggesting innovative ideas to solve our problems, the other ticket was focused on negativity. The negative attitude of the other team during these debates does not indicate an ability to form a cohesive governing body. You govern how you campaign. We don’t want that negativity to become our city council.
It is imperative to vote a ticket that can work Together to move our city forward. I firmly disagree with another local paper’s suggestion to split your vote for council. We must have a cohesive team working to guide city hall. The Asbury Together team of John Moor, Amy Quinn, Jesse “Coach K” Kendle, Joe Woerner, and Barbara “Yvonne” Clayton is the right team. They have consistently shown they have the vision and ability to lead our city.
Please vote Asbury Together on Nov. 4, 2014.
Thank You.
— Arnold Faulhaber, Asbury Park
