Two males aged 24 and 26 suffered stab wounds in connection with a fight that started early Saturday morning at the Beach Bar in Convention Hall, according to police.

As a result of the fight, “numerous subjects spilled out” of the bar and police were called to Fifth and Ocean avenues at 1:45 a.m. where the two injured men were found, said Detective Lt. David DeSane.

Both were taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, and treated for non-life threatening injuries, DeSane said.

The twenty six year old victim is a long-time resident of Asbury Park who now lives in Linden and the twenty four year old victim is an Asbury Park resident, according to DeSane.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, he said.
