Chamber of Commerce Sponsored Events Offers Deals & Special Events
The Asbury Park First Saturday initiative is back.
Sponsored by the Chamber the Commerce, Executive Director Sylvia Sylvia-Cioffi said the initiative offers an array of events, special offers and deals throughout the downtown and waterfront.
This year the City has approved free parking from 1 to 5 p.m. in its spaces located inside the Bangs Avenue garage and there are free and paid jitney services making loops throughout the community.

Presented by Haute Box, this 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. event is a non-consumption informative gathering aimed at destigmatizing and introducing recreational cannabis to the Jersey Shore. Speakers will address the cannabis industry, restorative justice, and related issues. The event features food, music, games, local artists, and a chance to win a few gifts. There will be a post event 3 to 5 pm meetup at the Asbury Park Festhalle & Biergarten Rooftop featuring an open bar, snacks and a goody bag. For more info, click here.

Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes headline this 5 p.m. Annual Independence Day Celebration held in support of AP Toy Drive. Remember Jones joins the bill and local bands play inside, including Promised Land [formerly Saints in the City] at 4:30 p.m. and a late show featuring Dino Petraccio & The Intruders. Tickets are $36.50 and unwrapped toy donations could bring a pass for a future show.
