Former Asbury Park Manager hired in Paterson
Part-time Assistant Biz Admin post comes with $55,000 salary
Former Asbury Park City Manager Terence ‘Terry’ Reidy has been hired as Paterson’s Assistant Business Administrator, according to an NorthJersey.com post.
The article states that Reidy, who worked for the state monitoring Paterson’s finances, was hired as a part-time employee at a salary of $55,000.
Mayor Jose ‘Joey’ Torres told said Reidy will play a key role in fostering economic development projects.
Reidy, who also worked in administrative posts in Passaic, Morristown and Montclair, was not reappointed in 2013 to the City Manager job he held for 10 years in Asbury Park. At the time he lived in Asbury Park.
Reidy went on to work part-time for the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs and collects a $77,000 annual pension, according to public records.
