Hoagitos announces expanded hours, new menu options
Breakfast and late night fare caters to early risers, dinner & bar crowds
Hoagitos, the gourmet mini-sub shop on the Asbury Park boardwalk, is bringing pork roll, egg and cheese sandwiches to the Asbury Park boardwalk this summer along with sliders for the late night crowd.
Owners have expanded the menu to include breakfast options of “spuds” along with variations of $4 egg and cheese sandwiches which will be available from 8 to 11 a.m. on weekends, according to co-owner Mark Spagnulo.
In addition, a new “late night” menu available, which will be available from 6 p.m. to close, features Kobe beef and portobello mushroom sliders. Sliders are $5 each or two for $8.
All of the original menu selections of semi-gourmet roast beef, turkey, pork, sopressata, veggie and nutella mini-subs remain. The sandwiches are $5 each.
“We are committed to bringing Asbury Park a high quality semi-gourmet meal option that maintains the speed and easy eating factor expected from beachfront fare at a price that keeps the wallet happy,” Spagnulo said.
The new menu options will be available starting the weekend of May 17.
“By Memorial Day we will be in full swing unless it is downpouring,” Spagnulo said.
Spagnuolo, his wife Emma and his brother-in-law Terence McGill [above left to right] own and operate the business.
