Jack Petruzzelli Tour Lands On AP Boardwalk
The Grammy Nominee Plays Free Concert July 5 at Langosta Lounge
Grammy Nominated Producer Jack Petruzzelli [aka Jack Snax] will debut his studio album Lake Songs Wednesday at Langosta Lounge.
A member of The Patti Smith Group, Petruzzelli is known for his Grammy nominated work with Joan Osborne on Bring it on Home [Best Blues Album of 2012]. The two are teaming up again, recording an upcoming album of Bob Dylan covers at his Pennsylvania studio in the Pocono mountains.
Petruzzelli, who hails from East Brunswick, is a touring guitarist with Ian Hunter’s band and has worked with Rufus Wainwright, Iggy Pop and Sara Bareilles, to name a few. He is one of the founders of the critically acclaimed national touring Beatles tribute band The Fab Faux. Their recent annual benefit concert at the Count Basie Theatre sold out and they have raised over $1 million thus far for the nonprofit theater.
Guitarist Cameron Greider, known for his work on Martha Wainwright’s self titled album, will open the 9 p.m. show, and locals Zach Westfall, members of Karmic Juggernaut and Bruno Lucarelli join Petruzzelli on stage.
There is no cover charge for this show.
