The Bonney Read [shown above] and Redemption [shown right] will be among the local eateries offering prix fixe meals during the 10-day event, running from Nov. 6 to 15.

“The goal for diners is to experience restaurants they may not have heard about or been to yet and to be able to do that at a great price,” Restaurant Week Chairman Jim Flynn has said. “For restaurateurs, it is an opportunity to boost their business at traditionally slow times of the year and to ‘show off’ their talents to people who haven’t enjoyed their restaurant yet.”

The Bonney Read and Redemption opened in August in the city’s downtown.

The Bonney Read offers an avant-garde twist to traditional seafood dishes. The brainchild of Asbury Festhalle Biergarten partners Andrej Ivanov, Ladiflav Sebestyen, and Executive Chef James Avery, the restaurant is named for legendary pirates Anne Bonney and Mary Read.

Jersey shore natives Michael and J.P. Acosta joined restaurateurs Tim and Jodi McInerney in transforming the former bank, law office and 1940s newsroom into Redemption: honest food and drink. Executive Chef Michael d’Ennery offers an ever-changing menu that showcases the New Orleans native’s globally inspired but locally sourced fare.
