The Annual Christmas Community Dinner will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at Langosta Lounge on the Asbury Park Boardwalk.

Held in partnership with community ally Pat Sherman of F.E.E.D.ing Frenz, the free event includes a visit from Santa, who will be gifting toys and presents to children in attendance.

For those wishing to help Santa, donations of new gifts for ages 1-18, wrapped and tagged with appropriate gender and age range will be collected through 6 p.m. Sunday.

Also needed are uncooked hams, organizers said.

Hundreds are expected to attend the holiday affair aimed at providing a hot meal and/or the company of community.

“Our annual Christmas Community Dinner aims to alleviate some of the everyday financial stress felt by so many in the Jersey Shore community,” Restaurateur Marilyn Schlossbach has said. “By offering people the comforts associated with Langosta Lounge, we aim to provide a family-friendly environment that offers a warm and inviting holiday experience to those who need it most.”
