Lesinski backs Cook, Grillo and Glassman for BOE
"It is vital that voters choose knowledgeable, skillful and focused individuals"
To the Editor, Asbury Park Sun:
As election day approaches and voters of Asbury Park are finalizing their picks for National, State, County and Asbury Park candidates I’d like to focus your attention to the very important Asbury Park Board of Education candidates.
Elections bring out the best or the worse in people as well as untruths about our school district. Carritta Cook, Joe Grillo and Wendi Glassman have been campaigning on the facts and educating our community about the progress the school district has made as well as the fiscal hurdles we face.
It is vital that voters choose knowledgeable, skillful and focused individuals.
Grillo is experienced as a current Board member with the truths the progress the District has made and the fiscal issues we face. Cook has a son attending the District and is familiar with the “new and improved” educational experience for students. Glassman is a fourth generation Asbury Park resident with a vast knowledge of finance and expects accountability.
I endorse these three outstanding individuals for the Asbury Park Board of Education.
Barbara Lesinski
Asbury Park resident and member of the Board of Education
