Man stabbed on Springwood Avenue Tuesday afternoon
Police have taken one person into custody
Police have taken one person into custody following a stabbing that occurred on Springwood Avenue.
Shortly after 4 p.m. police were notified of a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical altercation in the rear yard of an address in the 1400 block of Springfield Avenue, according to Deputy Chief Anthony Salerno.
During the physical altercation, one man was stabbed and suffered a minor laceration, Salerno said.
The man was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center where he received treatment for his injury.
Police have taken one person into custody in connection with the incident, he said.
No other information about the incident, the actor, or the victim is available at this time, he said.
