The ball, set for Sept. 8 at the Stone Pony, is a fundraiser for a scholarship fund for local students who are going to college or technical school. Proceeds from the event also benefit recreation programs, community health awareness initiatives and internship opportunities.
Johnson selected local movers and shakers to be honored with three awards.
