The Ocean Township Police Department has issued a missing person alert for a 59-year-old resident last seen Monday morning.
According to the alert, there has been no contact with Wanamassa resident Ross DeRose [at right] since Monday evening.
DeRose is described as a 5’9” white male , weighing 170 pounds with brown eyes, according to flier posted on his Facebook page. His last posting was on Nov. 4.
Authorities said a possible location may be York, Maine but are asking anyone who with information regarding DeRose’s whereabouts contact headquarters at 732-531-1800.
Detective Michael Melody and Det. Sgt. Patrick Martin are leading the investigation.
