Monmouth County DWI Checkpoint planned for Friday
Motorists will be stopped along Wall's Route 138 Fri to 3 a.m. Sat

The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will conduct a DWI checkpoint to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs, task force coordinator Chief Michael W. Palmer of the Brielle Police Department said.
The checkpoint will be run from Friday through 3am Saturday along Route 138.
Task force members and officers from the Wall Police Department will pull vehicles from the westbound lanes into the dental office parking lot to determine a driver’s sobriety, Palmer said.
