Motor Vehicle Stop Leads To Cocaine and Heroin Arrest
Wall woman remanded to Monmouth County Jail on outstanding warrants
A Friday afternoon motor vehicle stop resulted in the drug possession arrest of a 30-year-old Wall woman, according to a news release from the Ocean Township Police Department.
Elizabeth A Ganning, 30, of Wall was charged with possession of cocaine, heroin and drug paraphernalia. She was also issued motor vehicle summonses for being a suspended driver and for failing to wear her seat belt.
Police officials conducted the motor vehicle stop near 2:01 p.m. along Route 18 South, officials said. Ganning, who was not wearing her seat belt, was driving with a suspended license and found to be wanted on warrants totaling $2,250 out of the local jurisdiction.
Unable to post bail on the existing warrants, Ganning was remanded to Monmouth County Jail, pending a court appearance.
Ganning was arrested in October on crack cocaine possession charges following a routine motor vehicle violation by the department. At the time, she was stopped due to a broken tail light. She was released on $7,500 bail.
Officers involved with the Friday arrest include Det. Raheem Carter and Patrolman Jason Lester.
