Motor Vehicle Stop Leads To Drug Possession Charges
Highland Park Man, 29, Found in Possession of GHB And Methamphetamine

A Highland Park man was arrested on multiple drug possession charges following a motor vehicle stop, Ocean Township Police Department announced in a written statement.
Minervo Taveras, 29, was charged with possession of the psychoactive drug Gamma Hydroxybutyrate [GHB], Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, officials said. He was arrested for an outstanding New Brunswick warrant.
The charges stem from a 2:16 a.m. Friday motor vehicle stop along Route 66 at Route 18, sparked by equipment violations.
Taveras was remanded to Monmouth County Jail, pending an initial court appearance.
