The Asbury Park Police Department continues to investigate an armed robbery near 10:18 a.m. Monday at the Country Farms convenience store located along the 1100 block of Main Street at Fourth Avenue.

Police spokesman Patrolman Michael Casey said no one was injured but the suspect remains at large.

“The actor presented a weapon to the store employee and demanded money,” Casey said in a written statement. “An undetermined amount of money was taken.”

Casey said the suspect fled the area east on Fourth Avenue.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s  and K-9 patrols responded, Casey said.
