A Tuesday night noise complaint led to the underage alcohol drinking charges of eight college age students, Ocean Township Police Department has announced.

Andrew J. Stock 20, of Danbury, Ct, Noah Goldberg, 20, of Columbus, Anthony Melfa, 19, of Rutherford, and Arben Djombalic, 19, of Milford were charged with providing a place for underage people to consume alcohol, officials said. Police also issued violations to four partygoers for consuming alcoholic beverages while under the legal age on private property.

Police officials, who responded near 11:37 pm to a Norwood Avenue home, found an underage alcohol drinking party was in progress.

“Partially consumed alcoholic beverages were scattered throughout the residence along with three kegs of beer,” department spokesman Dt. Lt. Timothy R. Torchia said.

The four tenants were released on complaint summons, pending future court appearances.

Officers Alicea Angelo, Kyle Kane, Ryan Krug, Arthur Barnek, and Sgt Bryan Morgan investigated.
