The Asbury Park Sun website seeks an editor who has a passion for fairness, objectivity and accuracy in journalism, as well as a passion for Asbury Park and its immediate surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for breaking news and finding the newsworthy stories to tell our community. Some of the coverage includes night meetings. This is fast-paced journalism of the old-school variety, combined with today’s social media tools.

You need to be familiar with Associated Press style and have experience in news writing. Preference is for someone who lives in Asbury Park or its immediate surrounding areas. This is a full-time position with health and dental benefits.
