The roof of one of Ocean Grove’s most famous landmarks appears to have been damaged by Hurricane Sandy, which swept through the Jersey Shore yesterday.

The historic Grand Auditorium can be seen from Asbury Park. It was built in the late 1800s and serves as a concert hall and meeting space.

The town’s fishing pier has also allegedly been damaged heavily. To see a photo of the damage to the pier posted by a reader, check our Facebook page. Due to connectivity issues, we are unable to post it here.
