Ocean PD Drug Investigation Leads to Drug Arrest
Resident Charged With Crack Cocaine Possession W/ Intent To Distribute
The execution of a search warrant on Monday afternoon led to the drug possession with the intent to distribute arrest of a township resident, Ocean Township Police Department announced Tuesday afternoon.
Terrell R. Banks, 34, of Aldrin Road is charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of prescription legend drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Members of the police department executed the search warrant near 2:40 p.m. at a home inside the Twinbrook Apartment Complex on Aldrin Road, officials said. The search warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
Banks was taken into custody and the search warrant yielded narcotics, drug paraphernalia and U.S. currency associated with narcotic sales, officials said. Banks was released on a criminal summons pending a future court appearance.
Officers involved in the investigation include Detectives Raheem Carter, Jesse Orbach, Greg Martone, Chris Brady, Det Sgts Gregory Tongring and Patrick Martin, Det Lt Timothy Torchia, and the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Dept. K-9 Unit.
