Ocean PD Reports Drug and Burglary Arrests
Neptune and Tinton Falls residents await court appearances
Two 20-somethings were arrested Tuesday night on drug charges after police spotted a suspicious vehicle on Garden Drive, Ocean Township Police announced in news release.
Brianna Graziano, 21, of Tinton Falls and Shane L. Jones Jr, 25, of Neptune were charged with drug possession, officials said.
Detectives were in the area of Garden Drive near 9:13 p.m when they spotted a suspicious vehicle and conducted a motor vehicle stop. The investigation revealed that Graziano was in possession of marijuana and Jones was in possession of Xanax and Oxycodone without valid prescriptions, officials said.
Both were charged and released pending a future court appearance.
Detectives Michael Legg, Raheem Carter, Jesse Orbach, Dt. Sgt. Gregory Tongring and Patrolman Nicholas Castellano investigated.
On Sunday, police arrested a Neptune man in connection to the spate of burglaries that have been occurring throughout the community.
Daniel Joyner, 34, of Neptune, was charged with four counts of burglary, theft, and three counts of criminal mischief, officials said.
The arrest was made in connection to the March 20 home burglaries in the Deal Park neighborhood. Forced entry was gained to steal electronics and personal property, officials said.
Joyner was remanded to Monmouth County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
