Ocean PD Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Pellet Shooter
Suspects sought in July 3 incident of woman struck in the face
Ocean Township Police are in search of suspects involved with a July 3 incident involving a female victim being struck in the face by a pellet.
Officers who responded near 10:55 p.m. to a Mallard Lane address learned the woman was sitting in the rear of her property when struck. The area was checked yielding no suspects or leads to further the investigation at the time of the initial call for service, officials said.
Further investigation revealed surveillance footage captured two subjects running from the area shortly after the time of the incident.
Police are asking anyone with information pertaining to the incident or who have seen someone shooting a pellet or BB type gun contact them via:
