Ocean PD Week Long Drug Investigation Yields Six Arrests
Crack Cocaine, Heroin, & Prescription Drug Possession Among Charges
Six area residents were arrested for drug related activity along West Park Avenue last week, Ocean Township Police Department announced in a Tuesday afternoon news statement.
Department spokesman Det. Lt Timothy Torchia said the criminal investigation bureau made the arrests between June 18 to 22 in the area of a local post office, bank and high rise complex.
Wall residents Mary O’Brien, 36, and Shaun Tilton, 37, were arrested for wandering with the purpose to obtain narcotics on June 21st. They were both released on a criminal summons, pending initial court appearances.
Shawn Moore, 38, of Neptune was arrested for wandering with the purpose of distributing narcotics stemming from an incident on June 21st. He was also charged with being in possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia -syringes, and prescription legend drugs during the June 22 warrant service. Moore was released on a criminal summons, pending an initial court appearance.
Ruben Mangual, 45, of Asbury Park, who was observed distributing crack cocaine on June 19, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute. Cash was seized in accordance to State’s Forfeiture Laws and he was released on summons pending his initial court appearance, Torchia said.
Lisa Weakley, 47, of Ocean was charged with being in possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia – syringes, and prescription legend drugs during the June 22 execution of a warrant. She was released on a criminal summons, pending an initial court appearance.
And, Jeanne Walpole, 48, of Middletown’s charge for possession of crack cocaine and wandering for the purpose of obtaining narcotics stemmed from a June 18 incident. She was also charged with being in possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia – syringes, and prescription legend drugs during the June 22 warrant execution. Walpole was transported to the Monmouth County Jail, pending an initial court appearance.
