Ocean police swear in three new officers
All currently in field training, are assigned to uniform patrol bureau
Three new probationary police officers have joined The Township of Ocean Police Department, the department announced today.
Officers Christopher Stenger, Brenden Bernhard and Karen Noel were sworn into service at the Nov. 6 council meeting.
Stenger had previously served as a police officer with the Spotwood Police Department and is a graduate of the Monmouth County Police Academy. He also proudly served with the United States Marine Corps, which included a tour in Afghanistan.
Bernard previously served as a police officer with the Monmouth University Police Department, as well as the Long Branch Police Department as a Special Law Enforcement Officer II. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Monmouth University and will be attending the waiver program at the Monmouth County Police Academy.
Noel’s served with the North Hanover Township Police Department in Burlington County and is a graduate of the Burlington County Police Academy. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Monmouth University.
All three officers are currently in field training and are assigned to the uniform patrol bureau.
