The Ocean Township Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a pending case.
“Typically we issues these posts when we have no further leads to explore and we have been unsuccessful with identifying the person(s) in the photos,” Department spokesman Dt. Lt. Timothy R. Torchia said in a written statement. “[The public’s’ help with identifying these people allows us to bring closure to the victim/business.”
No details regarding the pending investigations were given.
“It’s an active investigation,” Torchia said. “Its an attempt to identify only. If and when he’s identified and arrested, we may issue a press release with all the details.”
Torchia said the only other piece of identifying information the department has is that the suspect may be from the Bergen County area.
