One person was stabbed in the 1500 block of Springwood Avenue around 8 p.m. Monday evening, according to Garret Giberson, spokesman for the Asbury Park Fire Department.
The victim, who suffered a stab wound to the abdomen, was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment, said Giberson.
No further details are available at this time, he said.
The 1500 block of Springwood Avenue is located between Ridge and Myrtle avenues.
