Heroin Possession Arrests
Two men were charged with heroin possession following a motor vehicle stop Thursday, according to a news statement by Ocean Township Police Department.
Francis A Mosco, 48, of Brick and Richard S Budnicki, 27, of Lanoka Harbour were charged with possession of heroin and hypodermic syringes, and discarding a syringe during the police investigation.
Officials said Ptl Ryan Krug pulled the men over after witnessing a motor vehicle violation near 9:50 a.m. Thursday along Route 35 and Sunset Avenue.
The men were released on a criminal summons, pending their initial court appearance. Police Officers Ryan Krug, Alon Bercovicz and Chris Stenger investigated.
Hidden in Plain Sight
DEA Special Agent McMahon will present Hidden in Plain Sight 6:30 p.m. March 6 at the Recreation Center, located at 615 W Park Ave.
The drug awareness program is designed to help parents of teenage children recognize substance abuse trends, signs and symptoms, officials said.
